Rameshwaram Cafe Blast: NIA Steps Up Investigation, Announces ₹10 Lakh Reward
Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a cash reward of ₹10 lakh for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect in the recent blast at the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. The March 1st incident left several people injured.
In a social media post, the NIA shared a photo of the suspect, captured on CCTV footage. The individual is seen wearing a cap, mask, and glasses while entering the cafe. The agency emphasized that the identities of informants will be kept confidential.
The Bengaluru police initially investigated the case, which involved an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). However, due to the suspected nature of the blast, the probe was handed over to the NIA earlier this week. The NIA specializes in investigating terror-related cases.
